Morten Bro Nielsen is a Managing Partner in BioFund.
He is primarily responsible for investments in diagnostics and medical technology companies.
He is managing the portfolio companies Cellartis, Chempaq and Inion.
In addition, he coordinates fund raising efforts.
Prior to joining BioFund, he spent 6 years in the ventures capital industry, initially as a Vice President with Radiometer, where he started and ran a small corporate venture fund, and later with CapMan Life Science, where he was an Investment Director and later a Venture Partner.
In addition to his experience from the venture capital industry,he has been involved in several start-up companies.
He was a senior scientist with HT Medical Systems,where he managed the software development group.
He has also been with NetDoktor, a European health internet start-up, where he ran the Scandinavian operations.
Morten Bro Nielsen holds PhD and MSc degrees from the Danish Technical University, as well as an INSEAD MBA (with distinction).
