1. Log in - type in or use bar code Scanner

2. Choose Patient Test on display

3. Scan or type: Patient ID + PAQ ID + Accessioning number

4. Collect blood from patient - venous

Venous blood sample in CBC PAQ

• Check that the blood sample is thoroughly mixed
• Use a pipette or capillary tube with a minimum capacity of 20μL
• Introduce the pipette to the PAQ blood inlet (it may touch the inlet).
• Take a medium to large blood drop into the pipette opening. Capillary forces will fill the inlet tube automatically.
• If the blood inlet tube is not completely filled by the blood drop Introduce more blood into the inlet.
• Do not use capillary tubes containing heparin.

5. Insert the PAQ

6. Read the results after app. 3 minutes
